Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO seeks a Nutrition Assistant I to support healthcare foodservice operations and deliver optimal nutritional care to patients and staff.

You will work alongside facility staff to ensure dietary needs are met, provide excellent customer service, and support daily foodservice tasks including cashiering, food preparation, and tray delivery. A strong emphasis on hygiene and compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• No experience necessary.
• If a Food Handler Permit is required by state/local health code, must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow healthcare foodservice standards: monitor food temperatures, prevent cross-contamination, and maintain hygiene and sanitation.
• Label and store food, equipment, and machinery per guidelines.
• Prepare and serve food per menu and dietary needs, aware of ingredients for allergy requests.
• Ensure high-quality customer experience by proper meal portioning and presentation.
• Perform cashiering, retail service, cold food prep, and patient tray delivery and retrieval.
• Carry out utility and maintenance tasks like dishwashing, catering support, inventory management and equipment cleaning.
