Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience necessary.
• If a Food Handler Permit is required by state/local health code, obtain within 30 days of hire or per local requirements.
• The Food Handler Permit requirements vary by state (examples include AZ, CA, KS, KY, NE, NV, OR, TX, UT, WA).

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of healthcare foodservice operations and ensure efficient foodservice processes.
• Provide optimal nutritional care to patients and assist with serving meals and trays.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, guests, and staff.
• Follow food safety, labeling, storage, and hygiene standards.
• Perform cashiering, retail service, cold food preparation, and tray assembly/delivery/retrieval.
• Complete utility duties, catering support, inventory, and routine cleaning of equipment and work areas.
