Job summary

Essentia Health Deer River Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Services assistant to help provide high quality, nutritious meals to patients and customers. You will perform food service tasks, assist with food preparation, monitor inventory, dishwashing, general cleaning, and stocking of food service areas, supporting the daily operation of the department.

The role involves interacting with customers and handling cash, with day/evening shift rotations.

Job Description: Assists in providing high quality and nutritious foods to patients and customers through a variety of tasks necessary to the daily operation of the facility. This may include food service, food preparation, monitoring inventory, dishwashing tasks, general cleaning, and stocking of food service areas. Performs tasks related to the setup and service in the patient service area, including interacting with customers and cash handling.
