Apploi in the United States is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the preparation and service of meals while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and dining environment.

You will support dietary staff in meeting nutritional guidelines, ensure portions follow plans, and deliver meals to residents or patients when required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic food safety knowledge, and the ability to work well in a team with good communication.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients
• Serve meals in accordance with dietary plans and portion control guidelines
• Deliver meals to residents or patients, if required
• Set up and clean dining areas before and after meal service
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
• Follow all food safety and infection control procedures
• Store food properly and monitor expiration dates
• Assist with inventory and stocking supplies
• Communicate with kitchen staff and supervisors regarding dietary needs or issues
