Job summary

Adept Life Sciences Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a Production Lead to directly supervise operators on 6:00am–2:30pm, ensure safe and compliant manufacture of nutraceutical products, and maintain batch records and QA checks on 21 CFR Part 111. The role requires coordinating line setups, leading start‑up meetings, and training staff on SOPs, quality, and safety.

Strong leadership and cGMP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Six years of work experience in manufacturing, with at least two years on production lines.
• Experience leading a team of operators and technicians.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 111 and CGMP practices.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work of operators and production workers on the assigned shift or area, assigning tasks and rotating staff to meet the production schedule.
• Lead shift start-up meetings and shift handoffs, communicating priorities, safety topics, and any quality or equipment concerns.
• Monitor production progress against the schedule and output targets, and report status, delays, and staffing needs to the Production Supervisor.
• Serve as the first point of contact on the floor for questions and problems, and upscale issues that cannot be resolved quickly.
• Train new and existing team members on SOPs, equipment operation, GMP, and safety, and document completed on-the-job training.
