Job summary

ITProposal is seeking a Nutanix Engineer/Networking IT Support Engineer in Tinian for on-call enterprise infrastructure support. The role requires flexibility across regional time zones and hands-on experience with Nutanix components.

The candidate should have 5+ years in infrastructure or virtualization, plus strong Nutanix expertise, VMware/Hyper-V knowledge, and solid networking fundamentals. DR, backup tools, and scripting are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure or virtualization engineering.
• Strong experience with Nutanix stack.
• Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with DR and backup tools.
• Scripting (PowerShell/Python) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Provide on-call incident response support.
• Work with global teams on cloud and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain system documentation.
