Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, virtualization, or networking.
• Hands-on Nutanix (AOS, AHV, Prism) experience.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
• Proven Break & Fix support in enterprise environments.
• PowerShell and/or Python scripting advantageous.
• CCNA certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote Break & Fix support for networking and infrastructure incidents.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, virtualization, and network issues.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nutanax Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer to provide Break & Fix support services across enterprise infrastructure environments. This freelance, on-call role requires a highly skilled professional who can diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, network, and infrastructure-related incidents efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Nutanix and networking technologies, hold a valid CCNA certification, and demonstrate excellent communication skills with fluent English proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote Break & Fix support for networking and infrastructure-related incidents.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, virtualization, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems involving TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, networking, or IT support engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Nutanix ecosystem (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• Experience supporting VMware and/or Hyper-V environments.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Proven experience providing Break & Fix support in enterprise environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Python is advantageous.

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid CCNA Certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate).

Preferred Qualifications

• Nutanix Certification (NCP or equivalent).
