Placements24 is seeking a reliable nanny/childcare provider for a private family in Randburg, Gauteng. The live-out role focuses on fostering development and ensuring a safe, stimulating home environment for the child/children.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of professional childcare experience, excellent references, CPR/First Aid, a valid driver’s license, and discretion to respect family privacy. Duties include meals, light housekeeping related to the child, and transporting to activities.

Formación

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional childcare experience with the relevant age group.
• Excellent references from previous families.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
• Ability to cook nutritious meals for children.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, reliability, trustworthiness, and a genuine love for children.
• Discretion and respect for family privacy.
• A clear criminal record check.

Responsabilidades

• Provide attentive and loving care for the child/children, ensuring physical and emotional well-being.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child/children.
• Assist with daily routines (bathing, dressing, nap times).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the child/children.
• Light housekeeping related to the child (laundry, play areas, rooms).
• Transport children to and from school or activities as needed.
• Communicate with parents about the child's day, progress, and concerns.
• Support consistent discipline strategies as agreed with parents.
• Ensure safety at all times inside and outside the home.
