Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Childminder and Development Coach for a prominent family in Randburg, Gauteng. You will provide full-time care for two children (ages 3 and 5) and lead developmental activities, ensuring their safety, emotional well-being, and learning progress.

The role requires 6+ years in childcare, coaching experience, and First Aid/CPR certification. A valid driver’s license and reliable commuting to Randburg are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a childminder, nanny, or similar childcare role.
• Demonstrable experience in coaching or facilitating developmental activities for young children.
• Strong knowledge of child development milestones and pedagogical approaches for preschoolers.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification are mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Provide care for two children (ages 3 and 5) and manage safety and well-being.
• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and routines.
• Coach life skills, social-emotional development, and independence.
• Manage daily schedules including meals, naps, hygiene, and outdoor play.
• Communicate progress and concerns with parents; attend appointments/school activities as needed.
