Job summary

Community Action For Improvement Inc is seeking an Infant & Toddler Care Giver in Franklin, GA. Under the Center Manager, you will supervise a group of infants from 6 weeks to 3 years, ensuring health, safety, involvement and creativity for each child.

The role requires a CDA credential (or comparable credential) with infant/toddler development focus, 2 year degree, and experience with infants/toddlers. Expect to participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff and families to support

Qualifications

• Minimum: CDA credential or comparable credential with infant/toddler development focus.
• Experience working with infants and toddlers.
• Mandatory professional development including basic first aid and pediatric CPR per state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children at all times.
• Participate in team meetings to plan and deliver collaborative services.
• Collaborate with co-teachers, staff and parents to support socio-emotional development.
• Develop and implement lesson plans promoting development in infants and toddlers.
• Support high-quality learning environments focused on individual needs.
• Report child abuse or neglect.
• Assist in meal preparation and serving.
• Perform similar duties as assigned.
