La Causa, Inc. seeks an Assistant Teacher I in Milwaukee, WI to support classroom instruction, supervise children, and assist with daily routines in a safe, nurturing environment. You will work with the teaching team, families, and coordinators to promote development and learning.

The role requires 1 year of paid classroom experience, bilingual Spanish/English preferred, and compliance with background and TB checks. Weekdays only, with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of paid experience working with families or in a classroom.
• Must complete 25 hours of in-service training annually.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Minimum age 21.
• Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Background checks and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities
