Job summary

Acquire4Hire in Brookline, NH is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher and help create a safe, engaging classroom for young children. You will work closely with families to foster social, emotional, and cognitive development.

No experience is required, and we are willing to train the right individual. You will contribute to routines and learning activities while growing professionally in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting.
• Ability to pass a New Hampshire criminal background check and fingerprinting.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Available to work until 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
• Provide a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Support children during transitions, meal times, outdoor play, and personal care routines.
• Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Engage with children individually and in groups to encourage curiosity and social skills.
