Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Brookline, NH to support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe and engaging classroom for young children. This role emphasizes social, emotional, and cognitive development and open family communication.

Training will be provided for the right candidate with no prior experience. You will assist with daily activities, maintain a clean learning environment, and help with transitions, meals, and outdoor play.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 15 years.
• At least 1 year of experience with young children in licensed childcare.
• Must pass NH criminal background check and fingerprinting.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work until 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
• Provide a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Support children during transitions, meal times, outdoor play, and personal care routines.
• Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Engage with children individually and in groups to encourage curiosity and social skills.
