Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Triages patient call lights in a timely manner.
• Monitors the electronic record for new provider-entered orders.
• Coordinates the completion of the orders with nursing staff and other departments as appropriate.
• Utilizes computer technology to access and exchange data, e.g., lab results, interdepartmental communications, etc.
• Maintains thorough and confidential patient charts and records.
• Performs clerical duties, maintains department/unit logs and coordinates services as needed.
