Job summary

Resorts at Pooler is seeking a Unit Manager for our nursing home in Pooler, Georgia. You will lead a nursing staff on a defined unit, oversee assessments, medication distribution, and care plans, and supervise CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include using SBAR communications, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining infection control and resident rights adherence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed by the state of Georgia as an RN or LPN.
• Current CPR certification or certification within 90 days of hire.
• Other certifications may be required for other areas of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a nursing staff team on a specific unit and oversee resident care.
• Manage assessment, medication distribution, and clinical documentation.
• Supervise CNAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and uphold Resident Rights.

Education
