Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center seeks an experienced ANM to oversee day-to-day operations of the nursing department within a Care Center. You will lead clinical and administrative functions, ensure quality care, patient throughput, and compliance with MMC policies while promoting collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities include implementing a patient care delivery system, fostering professional development, managing resources, and maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• 4-6 years of clinical experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years' management experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.
• Registered Nurse in New York, NYS Board of Nursing required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the nursing department within a Care Center.
• Directs and coordinates patient and unit activities to support excellence.
• Ensures quality care in compliance with MMC policies and patient throughput.
• Promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, communication and teamwork.
• Manages administrative issues for 24/7 care and weekend shifts.
