Qualifications

• BSN degree required; MSN preferred for advanced practice and leadership.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience; 2+ years in related area required.
• Effective management skills to direct nursing and hospital personnel.
• Analytical skills for problem solving and clinical decision making.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt to change and manage multiple priorities.
• Registered Nurse licensed in New York; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of specialized nursing units with ANM collaboration.
• Direct and coordinate patient and unit activities to ensure quality care.
• Assist interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; participate in educational activities and research.
