Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center's MMG - Nursing Administration seeks an Administrative Nursing Manager to oversee clinic operations with 24/7 clinical accountability under the Director of Nursing. The ANM will supervise nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care across clinics.

Responsibilities include directing projects, evaluating nursing care, maintaining orientation records, and mentoring staff. BA is required; NY RN license and 5+ years of nursing experience with 3+ years in leadership

Qualifications

• BA required; MSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license and registration in the state of New York.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience with minimum of 3 years in supervisory/healthcare management.
• Current Infection Control and Basic Life Support certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaboration, risk-taking, analytical problem-solving and timely decisions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Experience/interest in community-based healthcare and diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, guide and direct implementation of new projects to improve care delivery.
• Develop and maintain a system evaluating nursing care, practices, and procedures.
• Maintain clinical expertise and serve as a resource for nursing staff.
• Mentor staff and manage resources across sites, including weekends.
• Maintain orientation and educational records; submit reports timely.
• Possess strong computer skills and educate users on technology/software.
• Communicate with staff during clinic hours and ensure effective collaboration.
• Participate in departmental quality initiatives, infection control and accreditation activities.
