Job summary

Laurelwood Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a Nursing Unit Manager to supervise daily operations of our nursing units and ensure high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and collaboration with other departments.

You will develop and evaluate care plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Nursing Unit Manager: Oversee the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including assignment of duties, staff education, and performance evaluations
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans and programs to meet the needs of our patients
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and staff efficiency
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient charts and departmental statistics
