Job summary

Beloit Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wisconsin seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality care on a designated unit. The role requires an active Wisconsin RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term or skilled care, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license (required).
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Previous nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Leadership experience preferred (Supervisor/Unit Manager/Charge Nurse).
• Infection Control Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Passion for team-building and person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise nursing staff on the assigned unit.
• Oversee daily nursing operations including staffing, scheduling, and workflow.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor resident outcomes, quality measures, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to nursing staff.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting.
• Participate in resident and family meetings to address concerns and ensure satisfaction of care.
• Be part of clinical Leadership call rotation.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of nursing staff as needed.
