Job summary

Riverview Health and Rehab Center - North Campus in Detroit, MI is seeking a full-time Ward Clerk to join the Nursing team. The Ward Clerk provides clerical services, medical records management, resident scheduling, and other support to residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include greeting residents and visitors, scheduling physician and specialist appointments, charting vital signs, completing tray requests, and maintaining nursing equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred and to be maintained.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
• Organized and efficient to meet deadlines.
• Flexible with shifting priorities and schedules.
• Customer-service oriented with high level of care.
• Able to learn quickly and adapt.
• Able to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors in person and by phone.
• Schedule physician and specialist appointments for residents.
• Chart vital signs.
• Complete tray requests.
• Maintain nursing equipment and supplies.
• Process medical records requests and proper storage.
• Coordinate with equipment rental vendors.
• Assist nursing team with resident requests and other projects.
