Carson Tahoe Health in Carson City, NV, seeks a Nursing Support team member for the Womens Services Unit on a full-time day shift. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and supervision of the professional nurse, you will perform a variety of clerical duties associated with patient care unit operations.

Responsibilities include chart assembly and processing, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring confidential handling of patient information.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Communicates with health care team, patients and visitors using oral and written means; maintain courteous communication 100% of the time.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information per HIPAA laws.
• Accurately stamps, assembles, completes and processes patient charts as indicated.
• Maintains accurate clinical records and documents information per hospital policy.
• Monitors electronic and paper charts daily for incomplete histories and unsigned verbal orders.
