Job summary

Responsibilities

• Tutor students through drop-in, by-appointment, and/ or semester-long tutoring (online and/ or in-person) biology courses.
• Refer students to resources within the resource center and Academic Resource Center.
• Refer students to external resources with supervisor guidance.
• Maintain accurate records in FERPA-compliant systems and update staff on progress.
• Assist at front desk, check-in/out students, and keep center space clean and organized.
• Help students with computer systems and troubleshoot tutoring tech issues.
• Use scheduling system to manage tutoring schedules.
• Participate in mandatory center and campus trainings.
• Report attendance as scheduled; communicate absences promptly to arrange coverage.
