Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Nursing Technician Plus 3 to support the Registered Nurse by observing and documenting patient conditions under supervision. The role focuses on assisting with daily living tasks and progressive mobility to aid recovery, while ensuring safety and care quality.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of related experience, and Nurse Aide certification with BLS CPR.

Qualifications

• 6 months of related experience.
• BLS CPR (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider) mandatory.
• Nurse Aide Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with daily living tasks, including meals, personal care, and progressive mobility to support recovery and plan of care.
• Assesses patients' quality of life related to nutrition, hydration, and elimination to distribute resources and anticipate patient needs.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges patients to move them to appropriate locations per the plan of care.
• Assists with patient elimination needs, including ostomy care, enemas, and condom catheters.
• Helps maintain unit inventories of supplies and equipment to ensure a clean, safe environment per National Patient Safety Goals.
• Checks that fall risk patients have armbands, socks, and signage to ensure physical safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
