Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Nursing Technician to join the Med Surg Care Unit in St. Joseph. Under the supervision of an RN or Provider, you will perform basic nursing skills, observe patients, and communicate findings to the team to support safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CRT-BLS by AHA or ARC with 90 days validity is required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports patients' physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs to the RN or Provider.
• Provides direct patient care under supervision and adheres to clinical policies and procedures.
• Documents information accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Contributes to development of individualized care plans.
• Assists in maintaining a safe and clean patient environment and communicates equipment issues.
