Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Nursing Technician Plus 3 to support the Registered Nurse by observing and documenting patient conditions and assisting with daily tasks under close supervision. This role emphasizes patient comfort and safety as part of the care plan.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires 6 months of related experience.
• BLS (CPR) certification and Nurse Aide certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with daily living tasks, including meals and personal care.
• Assists with progressive mobility to support recovery and plan of care.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges patients per the plan of care.
• Assists with elimination needs and ostomy care as needed.
• Maintains unit inventories to ensure a safe environment.
• Verifies fall risk armbands, socks, and signage for patient safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
