Job Summary

The Nursing Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment and related activities for the nursing department. Responsibilities include active and passive sourcing of candidates, interviewing/screening candidates, and assisting hiring managers in filling open positions. Additionally, the Nursing Talent Acquisition Specialists represent Upstate at a variety of internal and external recruitment events.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, and three years of relevant experience required.
• Ability to plan, execute, and deliver on projects and tasks in a timely manner is required.
• Excellent interviewing, assessment, strong interpersonal skills, and verbal and written communication skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare recruiting experience highly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of human resources practices, employment laws, and collective bargaining unit agreements preferred.
• Ability to understand business and clinical aspects of healthcare preferred.
• Seeking highly motivated individual that possesses the desire to grow with the office and the organization and that has the ability to establish and cultivate relationships.

Work Days

Monday-Friday, days with occasional weekends and evenings
