Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Nursing Support Technician (NST) to work under the supervision of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and/or physicians in inpatient settings. The NST provides age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care, assists with daily living activities, and supports patient comfort while maintaining a safe environment.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED and AHA BLS certification, plus one of several Georgia nursing credentials or nurse assistant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Nursing assistant credentials or approved nursing program completion required.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive patient care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Maintain a safe patient environment and communicate effectively.
• Support patient advocacy, teaching, and performance improvement initiatives.
