Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Nursing Support Associate to join our patient care team at the Philadelphia campus. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment, transport patients, stock supplies and support infection control and regulatory readiness.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with nurses, unit secretaries and other staff to ensure timely patient flow and high-quality service. HS Diploma/GED required; 0–1 year healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 year experience in healthcare/hospital settings, customer service, or supply chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the physical environment.
• Supports patient care by ensuring access to essential equipment and supplies.
• Maintains inventory and cleanliness of unit-based equipment.
• Stocks and orders unit-specific supplies.
• Collaborates with nurses, CNAs, unit secretaries, EVS, transport, materials management and providers to ensure safety and smooth operations.
• Supports infection control and regulatory readiness.
