Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate to maintain clean, aseptic environments across patient rooms, offices, and public areas. You will follow hospital protocols, use germicidal products, and assist with maintenance to ensure a safe, comfortable care environment.

The role requires professionalism in interactions with patients, visitors, and staff, and supports Penn Medicine's mission to provide high-quality care and education.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Education Specialization: Equivalent Experience: And 0-1 years Relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas with hospital approved germicidal detergent, supplies and equipment.
• Cleans, sweeps, dusts, mops, buffs, scrubs and strips floors; washes walls, light fixtures and fixtures.
• Reports and malfunctions in mechanical equipment and any damaged walls or furniture to supervisor.
• Interacts effectively with patients, visitors and hospital personnel with courtesy and respect.
• Moves furniture, pushes/pulls carts and disposes of trash; cleans bathrooms and isolation rooms.
