The Ashton at Mayfield Heights is a Sonida Senior Living community in Cleveland, OH, seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead resident care teams in a diverse Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care setting.

The role focuses on adherence to nursing standards, policy implementation, and ongoing assessments to ensure compassionate, high-quality care. Eligible applicants should have RN licensure and prior long-term care supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two-year professional nursing experience in long-term care.
• Two-years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Supervisor assumes delegated responsibility and accountability for the provision of resident care according to professional standards of nursing practice in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures reflecting current standards of practice and facility philosophy, communicating policies to nursing staff and monitoring compliance.
• Conducts resident assessments and suggests level of service packages to residents and families as directed.
• Ensures delivery of compassionate, quality care with adequate staff coverage and maintenance of clean, safe, and well-functioning environment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Key Clinical Quality Indicators and proactively monitors systems to meet or exceed company thresholds.

Nursing Supervisor Responsibilities include:

• The Nursing Supervisor assumes delegated responsibility and accountability for the provision of resident care according to professional standards of nursing practice in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice, company, and facility philosophy of care and practices while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff. Monitors practices for effective implementation and achievement of results.
• Conducts resident assessments, suggesting level of needed service packages to residents and their families, as directed.
• Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care evidenced by adequate services and staff coverage for the facility, appropriateness of staff, absence of odors, cleanliness, absence of pressure wounds, and apparent maintenance of optimal physical, mental and, psychosocial function.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and application of Key Clinical Quality Indicators. Proactively monitors and implements systems to achieve and/or surpass company thresholds.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
