Job summary

The Ashton at Mayfield Heights, part of Sonida Senior Living in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Nursing Aide to support residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care settings. You will assist with daily activities, medications under supervision, and promote dignity and independence.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living and medication support while encouraging independence.
• Escort residents within the building and outside as needed.
• Assist with setting up, serving meals and post-meal cleanup.
• Support planning and execution of resident activities on schedule.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.

Nursing Aid Responsibilities include:

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times
