Hebrew SeniorLife is seeking a part-time Nurse Supervisor to oversee clinical operations across nursing floors in the absence of the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing. The role emphasizes collaboration, staffing coordination, and regulatory compliance within a senior care setting.

With 28 hours per week (12-hour weekend shifts and two weeknights), compensation is prorated from a 40-hour schedule. The position requires strong leadership and a commitment to quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Massachusetts RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in similar setting.
• BLS Certification required.
• ANA Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical operations on nursing floors in the absence of the Nurse Manager and/or Director of Nursing.
• Communicate with patients, families, and health professionals with respect and sensitivity.
• Adjust staffing and time scheduling to meet immediate needs and budget.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager/DON on annual reviews and corrective actions.
• Support Quality Improvement programs and professional development of staff.
• Prepare required records and reports and ensure regulatory standards.
