Job summary

Trinity Health System is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing personnel on patient care units, ensure quality of care, and support the hospital's strategic plan. The role involves administrative responsibility during absences of senior leadership and collaboration with Nursing Directors and the VP of Nursing.

The candidate should hold an Ohio RN license (BSN preferred or in progress) and demonstrate progressive leadership with at least three years of clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• BSN preferred or plan for completion.
• Three years clinical practice.
• Demonstrated competence in management and progressive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel engaged in direct patient care.
• Analyzes nursing and ancillary services to improve delivery of patient care and to obtain maximum utilization of staff.
• Arranges for emergency operations and reallocates personnel during emergencies.
• Participates with Nursing Directors and the Vice President of Nursing in development and implementation of the philosophy and objectives of the Nursing Department.
• Serves as a resource to staff, interpreting philosophy, goals, standards, policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
