Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide operational and administrative support to nurse leadership, coordinate staffing, and promote high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and engagement in evidence-based practice projects across units.

The position requires a BSN, a NJ RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and at least 3 years of nursing experience in the specialty.

Qualifications

• BSN required and NJ RN license.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience in the specialty.
• Current NJ Registered Nurse license; BLS/CPR; magnet certification acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Participate in recruitment and retention strategies.
• Assist with unit huddles and leader rounding with employees.
• Participate in unit goal creation reflective of hospital goals.
• Lead or participate in evidence-based practice projects or research.
• Resolve conflicts and facilitate constructive resolutions.
• Complete employee corrective action plans/counseling as necessary.
• Prepare and conduct periodic performance evaluations for staff.
• Monitor unit orientation processes for all roles as necessary.
• Lead multidisciplinary rounds and ensure performance improvement monitoring.
• Serve as a role model and mentor for new employees and Charge RNs.
