Job summary

Penn Medicine's Lancaster General Hospital seeks a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations and patient care in the absence of senior leadership. You will supervise staffing, bed flow, and inter‑department coordination to ensure safe, high‑quality care across the hospital.

The role requires a BSN, PA RN licensure, 7+ years as an RN and 3+ years in a managerial hospital operations role. Nights, full‑time schedule, on‑site at Lancaster General Hospital.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania required.
• BSN degree required; MSN preferred for advancement.
• Minimum seven years of RN experience in acute care.
• At least three years in a hospital operations/managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and patient care quality across the organization.
• Manage staffing, bed flow and patient transfers; coordinate with departments.
• Lead incident response and on‑call escalation with senior leadership.
• Supervise staff and ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
