Valley Baptist - Brownsville is seeking an innovative nursing leader to supervise and coordinate nursing staff across patient care units. You will ensure patient needs are met, evaluate care quality, and collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless operations.

The role includes planning unit work, organizing staff training, and participating in educational programs. Requirements include a nursing degree and Texas RN licensure; BLS is required, ACLS/PALS/NRP may be needed depending on

• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Texas
• AHA BLS certification required; ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP may be required by policy

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel in one or more patient care units.
• Verifies that patients' needs are met and evaluates unit nursing care and performance.
• Participates in planning work of assigned units and coordinates activities with other patient care units and related departments.
• Plans and organizes training for unit staff members and participates in guidance and educational programs.
