Job summary

RUSH Specialty Hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation in Chicago, IL is seeking a Nursing Supervisor - Registered Nurse (RN) to lead assigned nursing personnel, serve as a resource, and ensure high-quality patient care in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate holds a valid state RN license, BLS at hire, ACLS within six months, and has 2+ years of RN experience with supervisory exposure.

Epic documentation and collaboration with leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within first 6 months of hire/promotion.
• Two or more years of RN experience.
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred (CRRN preferred).

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel and act as a resource and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care in line with hospital philosophy and objectives.
• Maintain standards of patient care and coordinate with the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Document timely using EPIC and interpret labs/telemetry.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and educate patients/families.

Compensation: $48.58 - $64.00 per hour (based on years of experience)

You will direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant. Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives. Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.

• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• CRRN preferred
