Job summary

Southridge Behavioral Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (RN) to provide direct care, leadership, and supervision for all nursing care on the night shift. The supervisor serves as the on-site administrator during off hours, coordinating admissions, discharges, emergency responses and overall patient care quality.

Located near Grand Rapids in Byron Center, MI, the facility offers a collaborative team environment with access to benefits and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility strongly preferred.
• Previous House Supervisor experience strongly preferred.
• RN license issued by the State of Michigan required.

Responsibilities

Position Description

The Nursing Supervisor is a Registered Nurse RN who provides direct care, leadership, direction, and supervision for all nursing care on their shift. The nursing supervisor is the on site administrator during the “off hours” (weekends, holidays and night shifts) providing direction and supervision in all areas of the hospital. The nursing supervisor coordinates admissions, discharges, response to emergency codes and overall quality of care for patients.

Hours and Location

Night Shift, 7pm to 7:30am, 3 12 hour shifts a week. Every Other Weekend.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree required. Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility strongly preferred. Previous House Supervisor experience strongly preferred. License: Registered Nurse RN license issued by the State of Michigan required.
