Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years of clinical nursing experience including time in a charge nurse and preceptor role.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• License/Certification: Active state RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists in recruitment, interviewing and unit orientation for new staff.
• Plans staff work schedules and monitors day-to-day staffing needs.
• Maintains attendance data and payroll adjustments per unit standards.
• Provides coaching and mentorship to staff and participates in annual performance reviews.
• Facilitates patient throughput and serves as a clinical resource.
• Coordinates risk issues and delegates patient care activities to maximize productivity.
• Documents care activities and supports quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and care policies.
