Job summary

Carrollwood is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities and ensure the highest quality of care in a long-term care facility. Your duties include directing nursing services, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and coordinating with DON/ADON as needed.

You will participate in policy development, QA activities, and discharge planning, while supervising nursing staff and maintaining documentation and procedures for safe, effective resident care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities in the facility during your tour of duty.
• Develop and update nursing service policies and procedures.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Attend committee meetings (e.g., Infection Control, Quality Assessment) as required.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise staff to maintain high-quality resident care.
