Job summary

Qualifications
- RN license to practice in the state of employment
- BLS certification required (AHA/ARC)
- ACLS certification a plus
- CRRN certification a plus
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years medical-surgical nursing experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Commitment to rehabilitation medicine and patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care: assess needs, administer meds, monitor vital signs, collaborate with care team
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff: assign tasks, provide feedback, ensure policy adherence
- Monitor quality and safety: track outcomes, address risks, support quality improvement
- Promote patient-centered care: foster respectful environment, ensure effective communication
- Support unit operations: schedule planning, budget considerations, cross-department collaboration
