Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide operational and supervisory support for the nursing staff at the Old Colony Correctional Center in Bridgewater, MA. The role ensures daily coverage, proper medication handling, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license and CPR certification.
Experience supervising nursing staff in a healthcare or correctional setting is preferred.
Strong independent judgment and decision-making during emergencies or staffing changes are required.

Responsibilities

Provide operational and supervisory support to nursing staff across assigned regions.
Develop and maintain nursing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Ensure adequate medication supply and proper on-site documentation of medications.
Participate in on-call nursing rotation.
Oversee control, counting and documentation of on-site medications.
Educate patients on MAT use, side effects, and related information.
Verify medication orders with the addiction specialist and transcribe orders.
Assist in the admission process and document SUD diagnoses as required.
