Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies in Massachusetts seeks a Mid-Shift Nursing Supervisor (RN or LPN) at Massachusetts Treatment Center (MTC). The RN Charge will supervise nursing staff, deliver high-quality care, and ensure compliance with state practice acts during a 1PM–9PM shift.

Active MA RN or LPN license and CPR/BLS certification are required. Previous charge nurse or management experience is preferred; correctional healthcare experience is a plus. VitalCore offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

Current active RN or LPN Massachusetts license.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Previous charge RN or management experience preferred.
Licensure as an RN in the state of employment.
Remains knowledgeable about state laws and regulations governing practice.
Initial and annual clinical competencies must be completed.
Previous correctional experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality care within the scope of practice and supervise nursing activities.
Act as a patient advocate and promote best nursing practices; lead staff in a safe environment.
