Job summary

PHMC Health Center in Philadelphia seeks a Nursing Supervisor to oversee clinical nursing services across community health centers. You will provide oversight of RNs, LPNs, and MAs and help standardize workflows and SOPs.

You will report to the Director of Nursing and join the PHMC Health nursing leadership team, driving quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and staff development. Ideal candidates have primary care nursing experience and a proven supervisory track record in ambulatory

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional nursing experience.
• Experience in primary care as well as community health nursing, strongly preferred.
• Infection Control and Emergency Preparedness experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Licenses and certifications: Pennsylvania RN.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team management with PHMC Health leadership and Medical Director.
• Provide professional guidance and verbal direction to RNs, LPNs, and MAs.
• Develop, provide, and coordinate nursing education and professional development activities.
• Assist in recruitment and orientation of new clinic RNs, LPNs, and MAs.
• Develop competencies to ensure ongoing improvement in clinical skills.
• Annually develop and implement the health centers’ total quality management strategy.
• Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations.
