Job summary

Mercy Medical Center, Inc. invites nursing students graduating in 2027 to participate in a clinical immersion designed to strengthen skills and broaden exposure to clinical healthcare specialties. As a Magnet-designated organization, participants will receive top notch instruction and guidance for their future success as a Registered Nurse.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in share time on a unit of interest. Two cohorts are offered in January 2027 (Jan 4–8 and Jan 18–22).

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in Nursing School with an expected graduation date in 2027.
• Must hold a valid CNA license by the beginning of the program.
• BLS CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Hands on skills practice.
• Individualized learning assessments and plans.
• Mentoring by experienced Mercy nurses.
• Fun networking activities with cohort participants and Mercy nurses.
