Job summary

PCH Princeton Community Hospital is seeking a nursing associate for a temporary, student-focused role in Princeton, WV. You will assist with direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications include enrollment in an accredited nursing program and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Expect 12 hours per week with duties ranging from daily living assistance to vital signs and patient transport.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Safely transports patients to tests and procedures and escorts for discharge.
• Obtains and records vital signs and intake/output.
• Observes and reports patient condition changes to a registered nurse.
• Assists in admission, transfer, discharge and general patient care duties.
• Assists in specimen collection and other patient care activities.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment to prevent infections.
