Fairview Health Services is seeking a Nursing Station Technician to join the perianesthesia team at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. The role combines Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator duties on a fast-paced unit, under RN supervision, with responsibilities from direct patient care to administrative tasks.
Ideal candidates have BLS, NA training, or ongoing LPN/RN studies, plus relevant care experience.
This position works 48 hours every two weeks (0.6FTE) evening shifts. This position works 3 shifts per week, starting as early as 10:30am and as late as 1:00pm. These are 8 hour shifts. There is a rotating Saturday shift from 6:30am-3:00pm.

The Nursing Station Technician is a combined position consisting of both Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator roles to deliver direct patient care and administrative duties.
In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to demonstrate excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team on a fasted paced unit. Other job duties include:
