Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN is seeking a Nursing Station Technician for the Birthplace unit at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. This hybrid role combines Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator duties, with evenings and every other weekend coverage in a fast-paced labor/delivery environment.

You will assist nurses, transport patients and supplies, and manage room setup while maintaining strong teamwork and patient communication.

Qualifications

• Provides patient care under supervision while delivering compassionate service.
• Maintains clear, respectful communication with patients, families and team.
• Works effectively within a healthcare team on a fast-paced unit.

Responsabilités

• Assist professional caregiver in delivery of patient care and transport.
• Set up and maintain patient rooms and stock supplies.
• Process admissions/discharges and transcribe orders as needed.
• Maintain unit desk functions and coordinate unit communications.
• Perform duties with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
