Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to align staffing for a defined resident population in our facility, maintaining accurate nursing department records and ensuring proper coverage.

The role creates master schedules, staffs units per budgeted hours per patient day, and coordinates with HR/Payroll to keep time records up to date. CNA certification is preferred but not required; Kronos experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of staffing and orientation schedules.
• Current CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Kronos experience strongly preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates staffing needs for a defined resident/patient population and time frame, maintaining accurate records for the nursing department.
• Creates a master schedule and adequately staffs nursing units according to budgeted hours per patient day and staffing ratios.
• Makes daily schedules for the nursing department and coordinates with HR/Payroll to ensure time records are kept.
• Updates schedule daily as needed.
